STTP CONDUCTED :

"Technology Developments in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning" from 2nd -12th May 2006.

• The programme was approved by ISTE and sponsored by M/S Blue Star Ltd. and ISHRAE (Indian Society of Heating, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineers).
• Prof. S. R. Bhandari was the coordinator for the course; and Prof. A. G. Shaligram and Prof.M.N. Gandhi were the co coordinators.

        Eminent experts from the industry and academia had delivered lectures on a range of topics. These included people from Voltas, Blue Star, Kirloskar Copeland, Danfoss, Thermax etc. and Professors from IIT- Bombay. There were in all 30 sessions including 6 sessions by the coordinators.
Topics covered included, among others, Alternate Refrigerants, Controls, VRV Systems, Cryogenic Applications, Scroll Compressors, Chillers, Absorption and Adsorption Refrigeration, Pulse Tube Refrigerators Etc.A one day visit to central A/C installation was also arranged.
