The Somaiya Vidyavihar University (SVU) cricket team delivered a commanding performance in the West Zone University Cricket Match against Pacific University, Udaipur, held in Kota, Rajasthan.

After winning the toss, SVU chose to bat first and set an imposing target of 228/5 in 20 overs. The team’s batting order came together brilliantly, with Pratik W scoring 61 runs, Mohanty contributing 38, Rishikesh adding 33, and Sushrit finishing with 31. In response, Pacific University’s batting line-up crumbled under the pressure of SVU’s bowlers, managing to score only 99 runs in 18.2 overs.

A standout performance came from Atharva Dikholkar, who was named Man of the Match for his exceptional bowling spell of 4 overs, 19 runs, and 4 wickets, which proved crucial in securing SVU’s victory by a massive 129-run margin.

The win adds further momentum to SVU’s impressive journey in the tournament, and we look forward to even more stellar performances from the team.
