Students from the Department of Sports and Exercise Science at Somaiya Vidyavihar University had an enriching experience at the prestigious Tata Mumbai Marathon 2025. A total of 24 enthusiastic volunteers from the first and second year of the B.Sc. Sports Science and Exercise Science programs took part in various operational roles during the event.

Their responsibilities spanned crucial areas such as logistics coordination, holding area management, baggage retrieval, and other essential event operations. Through their active involvement, they contributed significantly to the seamless execution of the marathon, demonstrating their skills and commitment in a real-world setting.

This hands-on experience provided students with valuable insights into sports event management, enhancing their practical knowledge and preparing them for future careers in the field.
