It was a privilege to welcome Shri Dinesh Lad, a Dronacharya Awardee and mentor to cricketing greats like Rohit Sharma and Shardul Thakur, to Somaiya Sports Academy.

As the founder of the Dinesh Lad Cricket Foundation, he has tirelessly worked towards supporting talented players from underprivileged backgrounds.

During his visit, he applauded Somaiya’s state-of-the-art sports facilities and remarked, "Given the infrastructure, Somaiya Sports Academy holds, if good players don’t come from here, then where else?" 

His inspiring words reaffirm our mission to create future cricket stars drive grassroots development in the right direction and mark the beginning of a promising collaboration aimed at strengthening cricket at the grassroots level.
