Responsibilities:
The Administrative Officer will work closely with the Director and support the faculty, researchers, staff, and other stakeholders to maintain a smooth and organized work environment.
Supervise daily operations of the office, managing staff, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintenance of office facilities including safety, and security.
Develop organizational policies and procedures in compliance with relevant regulations.
Analyze data, preparing reports, and presenting findings to support decision-making processes.
Prepare, review, and track departmental budget.
Handle recruitment processes, maintain employee records ensuring accuracy and confidentiality, administering employee benefits, and handling employee inquiries.
Coordinate with internal/ external functions/departments such as Project Office / Infrastructure / Security / IT etc to deliver on timelines and managing staff.
Liaising with Vendors and processing invoices in coordination with Procurement and Finance team.
Assist in organizing conferences and other events hosted by the institute.
Addressing administrative issues and making decisions in a timely and effective manner.
Extensive administrative expertise, Government rules and regulations, acts, Good Communication and written Skills in English, Hindi & Marathi, Handling Correspondence with Departments/ University & Other institutes, Proficient in Computer Knowledge with MS-Office and Reports
