Job Description
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s / Masters degree in Communication, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
- Linguistic Proficiency (Gujarati, Marathi Preferrable - in addition to Hindi/English)
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in communications, social media management, or digital marketing
- Proficiency in using AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Canva, etc) along with a strong command of social media platforms
Required Experience:
- 4 to 5 years experience in similar position in a large multi institution group
- Experience in brand identity promotion and managing communications for events and activities. Ability to segment and target among alumni groups.
- Identifying SEOs, Strong content creation skills, including copywriting and visual content design.
- Experience in developing and managing website, portal, newsletters, forums, fund raising and other communication channels targeting diverse audiences.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience in using and integrating AI tools into communication strategies for effective outreach.
Job Description
To work in close collaboration with the Director on all Communications programs and initiatives with the purpose of creating the Somaiya Identity. These are likely to be:
- Brand Identity promotion
- Communications for Activities and Events
- Newsletter/Forum
- Social Media including the use of AI tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, Canva and D-iD.
- Other communications to external and internal publics
- Development, and continuous monitoring, of Alumni website/webpage/portal including uploading of Alumni data
- Effective Communications planning and strategy
- Targeting of different alumni segments for disseminating information
- Creation of communications for some applications
- Collaboration with external partners
Key Skills
Ability to collaborate with external partners /vendors coordinate with internal teams effectively.
