Celebration of World Intellectual Property Day 2025
The Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Cell, at Somaiya Vidyavihar University proudly joins the global celebration of World Intellectual Property Day, an initiative led by the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) to highlight the role of IP in fostering creativity and innovation.
The theme for World IP Day 2025 is: “IP and Music: Feel the Beat of IP”. This year’s theme celebrates the vibrant connection between intellectual property and the music industry, recognizing how IP empowers creators and drives cultural and economic progress.
The IPR cell along with Somaiya School of Basic and Applied Sciences have scheduled expert talks to learn more about Patent and Copyright filing on 29th April 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Details are as per the below flyer.
