She is working in KJSCE since August 2003. She has total experience of 21 years. She has taken up the charge of Associate Dean, Academic Programmes from July 01,2021. She is Professor in the Department of Information Technology. She is presently Board of Studies Chairperson in Information Technology and Board of Studies Chairperson in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science.
She has served various positions in college/university in past. She was Member-Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Somaiya Vidyavihar University (SVU) from September 2021 to September 2023. She is PhD Coordinator for PhD in Information Technology (SVU). She was coordinator for Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of KJSCE from Feb 2017 to June 2021. She worked as the Head of the Department of Information Technology from July 2009 to Nov. 2013. She has represented her department as Head for the NBA Accreditation in 2012 for which the department had received the accreditation status. She was part of various committes/bodies like Member of Board of Studies, Member of Prevention of Unfair Means Committee for handling malpractices in examinations, Internal Research review committee, Member Grievance Redressal Cell- Faculty & Staff, NAAC Accreditation Steering Committee and more. She is a founder member of Member of Biomedical Engineering and Technology Incubation Cell (BETiC- KJSCE) which is developed in association with IITB.
She has completed her PhD from Shivaji University Kolhapur in April 2017, M.E (Electronics) from Walchand college of Engineering, Sangli and B.E. ( Electronics Engineering ) from Shivaji University, Kolhapur in 2000.
Her areas of interest are primarily Image processing, Geographical Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence and Information Security. She has published papers 31 papers in peer-reviewed international Journals, conferences and book chapters. Currently two of her PhD students enrolled in Computer Engineering under University of Mumbai have submitted the thesis. She is also a recognized PhD guide in Computer Engineering and Information Technology of Somaiya Vidyavihar University. She is guiding 2 candidates under Somaiya Vidyavihar University. She is recognized as PG teacher of the Mumbai University for M.E. Degree in Computer Engineering from November 2012 and M.E. in IT from March 05, 2015 .She is also recognized as a Guide for PhD in Computer Engineering from July 2017 and in Information Technology from 2018 of University of Mumbai. She has guided 40+ UG projects and guided/co-guided 12+ PG projects. She has attended International faculty development program at Melbourne, Australia in Aug-Sep 2019 and many other FDPs, STTPs, workshops and seminars and also organised many of them.
