Dr. Seema Prashant Talmale has completed her PhD in Electronics Engineering from Mumbai University. She is working with K.J.Somaiya College of Engineering, since August 2003. She has a total of 22 years of teaching experience.  At present she is working as an Associate Head of the Department of Electronics Engineering  since July 1, 2021. She has more than 25 publications in all to her credit in the proceedings of "International conferences and International journals." Her areas of research are Error correcting codes, Microwave and fibre-optics, Power Electronics, Engineering Electromagnetics, Digital Signal Processing, Basics of Communication Engineering, Industrial Electronics, Electric Vehicle, Power Electronics and Drives, Discrete Mathematics.

She has an invention patent granted to her credit titled as “3 Bit Error Correcting Modified Linear Block Code”, application no. 202221010400, patent no. 415002.
