Dr. Rupali Pankaj Patil is a doctorate from Mumbai University and currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Electronics and Telecommunication Department at K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering. Dr. Rupali holds a Ph.D. Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from the University of Mumbai. During her Ph.D. work, she has developed a methodology for extraction of one-dimension (1-D) signal from degraded documented signal records like ECG, rainfall data etc. The electronic database of historically documented signals can act as a dataset for various machine-learning algorithms for diagnosis in case of chronic problems or the prediction of atmospheric disasters and for research organizations in various retrospective studies.

Dr. Rupali is currently approached by STEMI (Europe) for extraction of ECG signal from camera capture paper ECG records. She is guiding two MTech. Students in the area of Plant disease detection using machine learning and timing signal generation for HF radar (under SAMEER). She has five publications in peer-reviewed Journals and few waiting for the response. She has published research paper for prediction of COVID-19 cases for non-converged countries. She has nine conference publications.

She is graduate in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Govt. college of Engineering, Jalgaon (North Maharashtra University) and postgraduate in Electronics Engineering from Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology (Mumbai University). She has fourteen years of experience in the teaching field.
