I completed Ph.D. from department of Energy Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, Mumbai, India on July 2011. Post Ph.D. I worked as associate professor from 2011 to 2016 and from 2016 onward worked as Professor and Dean Research and Development in K J Somaiya College of Engineering Mumbai. I am working on the multi crop drying cum grinding system for herb and grains. The project helps to provide the solution to Grivanvasi Ashram Dhanu for drying of herbs and fruits. I also developed the turmeric boiling cum drying unit which works on biomass fuel. The system is more efficient as against the present process used by framers. Along with the industry I am working on the technology solution for the bagasse ash bricks (Patent filed) manufacturing from bottom ash generated from sugar cogeneration industry (presently total 652 sugar cane industries in India). I developed the vacuum drying unit for the bagasse drying, which then used in the cogeneration plant. The technology developed reduces the moisture up to 8% maximum (Patent filed).The heat assisted evaporation has been practice worldwide; I am working on the freeze solution recovery system so that two utilities can be produce form the natural agricultural produce (Gur or Jaggery). I developed the solar based incinerator system for the textile mill which then generates the hot water for the process industry (Patent filed on the process developed). The other area I am working with is solid waste management for industries. I am presently looking for the grinding waste utilization for the useful product development. Further I am also looking for the aluminum waste utilization and its MMC product development. I am also closely working on small scale industries in Bhiwandi area, for the pearl and beads dyeing and drying I developed the pearl separation device (Patent filed) and pearl mixing device (patent filed) which currently being used for the regular production.
