Cloud computing and Web collaboration are emerging as two major concepts, supporting innovative developments in library automation. Cloud computing is emerging to help libraries to offer much improved services by strengthening the power of cooperation among libraries and showing their combined presence on web. This will certainly help to enhance the efficiency of libraries by enabling them to access information through large global network of cooperating libraries and eliminating the IT related problems, thereby saving time, money and manpower.
