- Abstract
Knowledge and knowledge management have emerged as a current issue for many organizations including the library and information centers. This paper will examine the role of libraries in knowledge management and suggest libraries in the digital and knowledge age should be in charge of knowledge management in their respective organizations. It will also examine the role of the National Knowledge Commission in management of knowledge in India.
